Carpenter Platform Hub
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Carpenter Platform Hub serves as the central routing matrix and technical documentation layer for internal infrastructure, shared microservices, and network isolation policies.
Our service mesh is decoupled across heterogeneous infrastructure tiers:
- AWS Multi-Region Fabric: Stateless ingress gateways, regional API clusters, and edge caching distributed across
us-east-1,eu-west-1, andap-northeast-1. - Bare-Metal Compute Nodes: Dedicated high-throughput hardware, custom virtualization stacks, and secure colocation nodes fronted by internal reverse proxies.
Direct public DNS hostnames are not published within static documentation. Ingress resolution is dynamically bound via internal discovery zones (<zone-domain>) managed by infrastructure state stores.
Quick Navigation
Section titled “Quick Navigation”- Service Catalog
Inventory of active services spanning multi-region AWS clusters and bare-metal nodes. - mTLS & Certificate Authority
Unified CA specifications, automated revocation, and client certificate distribution. - Standard Error Codes
Diagnostics for upstream gateway responses across AWS ALBs and bare-metal ingress.
Infrastructure Topology Summary
Section titled “Infrastructure Topology Summary”| Layer | Environment | Implementation & Enforcement |
|---|---|---|
| Global Routing | Anycast DNS / Edge | Low-latency traffic steering to regional entry points. |
| AWS Multi-Region | us-east-1, eu-west-1, ap-northeast-1 |
Regional ALBs with synchronized mTLS trust stores. |
| Bare-Metal Nodes | Dedicated Colocation Clusters | Hardened reverse proxies (Caddy/Nginx) mounting read-only CA bundles. |
| Service Discovery | Internal Dynamic Resolver | Logical endpoints bind to environment-specific base domains. |
